About this Class

This course, which requires no experience, gets you up on your feet with fun exercises and games to focus on building confidence while developing skills in active listening and spontaneous creativity. You’ll gain foundational skills for improv scene work like agreement, listening, object work and keeping things grounded while also respecting and following unusual choices. By the end of the classes you will be able to form a relatable base reality and have the fundamentals needed to learn the Game of the Scene style of long form improv in the following classes. **Participants are invited to perform as a group in an Improv showcase on Saturday, June 7th at 8 pm.
