Acting for Teens

About this Class

A Saturday acting class designed for aspiring young actors to develop their craft. Over six weeks, students will explore scene work, improv, and on-camera audition technique — guided by two experienced teachers, Laura Holloway and Rick Dacey. Both Laura and Rick have been taking acting classes since they were teenagers themselves. This class was built from their combined experience — as students, and now as working actors — and reflects everything they wish their own training had included at that age. The result is a program designed to give young performers a strong foundation and the space to genuinely explore. This program is ideal for teens ages 12–17 who want to build confidence and performance skills in a fun, collaborative environment.
