Laura Holloway

“The teacher must be an actor, an artist, passionately in love with his work.”

― Anton Chekhov

Laura Holloway is a working TV & Film actress, acting teacher, and acting coach. What's the difference, you ask? A good coach can coach you into performance and help you book an audition. A teacher gives you the tools you need to gain an approach to the craft that is unique to you. Laura is both.

She began her professional training nearly twenty years ago at the beloved studio of Uta Hagen, the famed HB Studios in New York City. Feeling the desire to dive deeper, next she attended the two-year full-time professional conservatory at the prestigious Atlantic Acting School where she studied under incredible teaching artists like Clark Gregg, David Mamet, Felicity Huffman, Scott Zigler, and William H. Macy, to name a few.

After a move to Los Angeles, where she lived and worked as an actor and producer for nearly a decade, she furthered her studies at different studios like Howard Fine and Ivana Chubbuck's Studios, but eventually found her home studying with the incomparable Gregory Berger-Sobeck, Yale School of Drama alumni, and former faculty member.

Most recently she dove into The Method training with the legendary Tony Greco, teacher and coach to the brilliant Phillip Seymour Hoffman, to name one of the countless acclaimed actors Tony has taught and coached on set. She is a long-time company member at the IAMA Theatre Company in Los Angeles and a member of SAG-AFTRA.
